Shipwright Resource Overview

Schematics

The shipwright schematics can be divided into 4 groups.
Ship Blueprints
Ship Parts
Weapons
Odds and Ends

1. Ship Blueprints

This is not really a ship but a blueprint you are supposed to hand over to get your actual ship chassis. There are 6 levels of ships:
Novice: 5k resources (2k Steel, 1k Ore, 1k Aluminium, 1k Inert Petro)
Blueprints 1: 15k resources (7k Steel, 4k Ore, 2k Aluminium, 2k Inert Petro)
Blueprints 2: 30k resources (12k Steel, 6k Ore, 3k Aluminium, 3k Inert Petro, 3k Iron, 3k Fiber)
Blueprints 3: 60k resources (24k Steel, 12k Ore, 6k Aluminium, 6k Inert Petro, 6k Iron, 6k Fiber)
Blueprints 4: 80k resources (32k Steel, 16k Ore, 8k Aluminium, 8k Inert Petro, 8k Iron, 8k Fiber)
Master: 150k resource (70k Steel, 20k Ore, 10k Aluminium, 10k Inert Petro, 10k Iron, 10k Fiber, 10k Siliclastic, 10k Copper)
Each level have at least one ship each for rebel, imperial and neutral. No rare types are needed and the stats are 25% HR 25% OQ 25% SR 25% UT for Hitpoints and 25% MA 25% OQ 25% SR 25% UT for Mass.


2. Ship parts

There are 7 different ship parts which have tons of schematics. But there is a system to this chaos. Everything has 5 levels marked with Roman numerals from I to V. Each part type has one main set (5, one for each level) of schematics. The parts require 50 of each resource at level I up to 1250 of each at level V.

A) Armor (Steel, Ore, Aluminium, Inert Petro) (HR 25% OQ 25% UT 50%)
B) Booster (Steel, Ore, Aluminium, Liquid Petro) (OQ 33% UT 66% / CD 25% OQ 25% PE 50% / OQ 33% PE 66%)
C) Capacitor (Steel, Ore, Copper, Inert Gas) (OQ 33% UT 66% / CD 66% OQ 33%)
D) Droid Interface (Steel, Ore, Copper, Fiber) (OQ 50% UT 50% / OQ 33% UT 66% / CD 33% OQ 33% SR 33% / CD 50% OQ 50%)
E) Engine (Steel, Iron, Aluminium, Radioactive) (OQ 25% UT 75% / CD 33% OQ 33% PE 33% / CD 66% OQ 33%)
F) Reactor (Steel, Copper, Inert Gas, Radioactive) (OQ 50% UT 50% / CD 50% OQ 50% / OQ 33% UT 66%)
G) Shield (Steel, Aluminium, Siliclastic, Reactive Gas) (OQ 33% UT 66% / CD 33% OQ 33% SR 33% / CD 33% OQ 66% / OQ 33% UT 66%)
In addition there are augmentation schematics for each part. They also have 5 levels. Each augmentation type focus on something different. The augmentations require 75 Steel and 25 of a new rare resource at level I and 2k Steel and 500 of the new rare at level V. (There is one exception. Mass Reduction Kit uses Aluminium instead of Steel) Here are the experimentation stats for the augmentations:
Armor Augmentations: HR 25% UT 75% (Crystallized) / OQ 25% UT 75% (Crystallized, Perovskitic)
Booster Augmentations: OQ 33% PE 66% (High Grade), OQ 66% PE 33% (High Grade) / DR 33% OQ 66% (Unstable) / DR 66% OQ 33% (Unstable)
Capacitor Augmentations: CD 75% OQ 25% (Conductive)
Droid Interface Augmentations: CD 60% OQ 40% (Conductive)
Engine Augmentations: CD 40% OQ 60% (Fermionic, Perovskitic)
Reactor Augmentations: OQ 60% PE 40% (High Grade)
Shield Augmentations: OQ 50% UT 50% (Gravitonic)

3. Weapons

This group is the categories weapons, missiles and countermeasures. It's not as symmetrical as the parts, but uses mostly the same type of resources.
Main Weapon: Steel, Carbonate Ore, Radioactive, Inert Gas (OQ 50% PE 50% / OQ 33% UT 66% / CD 50% OQ 50%)
Main Weapon Augmentations: Steel (OQ 50% PE 50% / CD 25% OQ 75% / CD 50% OQ 50%), High Grade Radioactive (OQ 50% PE 50%), Unstable (CD 25% OQ 75%), Fermionic (CD 50% OQ 50%)
Launchers: Steel, Aluminium, Radioactive (OQ 50% PE 50% / CD 50% OQ 50%)
Countermeasures: Steel, Metal (CD 50% OQ 50%)
Missile packs: Steel, Radioactive, High Grade Radioactive (CD 50% OQ 50%)

4. Odds and ends

This is the paint kit (No experimentation), the analysis tool for reverse engineering (Steel, Chemical, CD 50% OQ 50%) and the various repair kits (Steel, Fiber, CD 25% OQ 75%). The only thing to experiment on is charges, so it's not that important.

There are 7 new types for Shipwright plus an extra steel which is not used anywhere yet.

The developers seem to have totally forgotten about the standard rules for resources. The new ore can have concentration in the 90s. The worst is that the new ones doesn't seem to have caps either. 1000 CD has already been reported on the steel and I've seen Non-Ferrous with SR in the high 900s. I've seen stats way below standard minimum caps as well.
