Customer: "Do the cats live here in the store?"

It can spur the mind to come up with possible answers.


"Yes"

"No, they just hang out til it's happy hour at TGI Friday's. Then when they're appropriately soused, they find a nice alley to crash in. Come staggerin' in the next morning and do it all over again."

"No, they're on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan."

"There is no cat. We're all stuck in the Matrix."

(whispering) "Help us! We're being held against our will here by aliens/robots/demons that look like cats!"

"No, the North side cats are using this for their staging ground in the big war against the Southsiders down the street. We've already got the triage set up."

"No. You've heard of the men who stare at goats? Well, these are the cats that stare at people."
