Problem with fresh installation

Post by Dream » Sun Feb 08, 2015 8:01 pm

Hi. I play on reckoning and I did a fresh install of Star Wars Galaxies, under: "E:\StarWarsGalaxies\"
I placed reckoning.exe into "E:\StarWarsGalaxies\" and ran the exe, so it set up everything there.

I maed a swgaide folder, and ran it, and i get this error message.

I did a fresh install of SWG in e:\StarWarsGalaxies

Then in installed the emu in: e:\StarWarsGalaxies (top level install - same as the game)

Then I installed reckoning in e:\StarWarsGalaxies (top level install - same as the game AND emu)

SWGAide currently looks for the presence of either swgemu.exe or swgclient_r.exe to determine if a directory is a Star Wars Galaxies directory. In the next release, it will also look for bottom.tre, one of the base files of the game, which is probably more reliable at this point in time.
