I found some interesting tidbits there, even if LucasArts stick to their decision and SOE then change their minds I believe SOE can take some interesting pieces from the game and recycle them into other games. Indeed SWG and its teams has gained considerable knowledge about what might attract a "steady number" of players for a prolonged time ... 8 years is a long time to not unsub once, I will just manage 7 of those but...
