There are only three types of xp now. Crafting, Entertaining and Combat. All Trader schematics grant Crafting XP regardless of what specialization you have. I don't know if crafting instruments grants Entertainer xp, though, but I doubt it.

I kind of thought that might be the case, but wanted to mention it on the chance it wasn't.
